Gobi Manchurian

Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cauliflower
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 tablespoon cornflour
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoon garlic chopped fine
  • 2 teaspoon ginger chopped fine
  • 4 green chilies minced
  • 1 bunch cilantro minced
  • 2 tablespoon soya sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 cups of oil for deep frying

Directions

Prepare batter

  • Combine cauliflower, beaten egg, cornflour, and all-purpose flour.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Mix well.

Make the cutlets

  • Heat oil and double fry the cauliflower.
  • Drain well.
  • Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan.
  • Add minced onion, green chilies, garlic, and ginger.
  • Fry well until onion is golden brown add cilantro.
  • Add cauliflower and soya sauce and salt.
  • Serve immediately with chutney.
