Potato Fritters

Ingredients

  • 1 Zucchini grated
  • 3 potatoes grated
  • 1 onion minced
  • 1 bunch cilantro minced
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoon whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoon bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 3 cups of oil for deep frying

Directions

Step 1 – Prepare dough

  • Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • Add water little bit at a time, mixing the ingredients to form a thick dough.
  • The dough should be able to form a ball.

Step 2 – Fritters

  • Take a pinch of dough – about ¾ size of a lemon.
  • Pat it on the greased sandwich bag – 1/2 inch thick.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan.
  • Slid 3 to 4 fritters in the frying pan.
  • Fry until the fritter is golden brown.
  • Let drain on a paper towel.
  • Serve immediately with chutney.
