Red Pepper

There are many, many varieties of chili peppers, and they often have different names depending on region. The substances that give chili peppers their intensity is Capsaicin. They are rich in various vitamins and minerals.

Benefits:

  • Fresh chili peppers, red and green, are rich source of vitamin-C.
  • They are also good in other antioxidants such as vitamin-A.
  • Chilies carry a good amount of minerals like potassium, manganese, iron, and magnesium.
  • Chilies are also good in B-complex group of vitamins such as niacin, pyridoxine (vitamin B-6), riboflavin and thiamin (vitamin B-1).

Chili may help in the following:

  • To kill rats, make a paste of chili powder with water and pour you think rat is coming.
  • Dropping chili where insects and bugs are found, can eliminate it.
