Tindora Sabzi

Ingredients

  • 500 grams tindora, sliced length wise
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder (recipe in the website)
  • 1 teaspoon peanut masala (recipe in the website)
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon cilantro

Directions

  • In a sauce pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  • Add cut tindora and salt. Let it roast until it is crisp.  Close it with a lid and let it cook until ¾ done.
  • Once the tindoras are cooked, add the masala powders and mix well.
  • Add lemon juice in the end and cover the sauce pan.
  • Garnish it with cilantro.
