Badam Burfi

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Whole Badam (Almond)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 ¾ stick Butter or
  • 1/3 cup Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder

Directions

  • Powder almonds in a coffee grinder – fine grind.
  • Heat non-stick pan on medium heat for 1 minute.
  • Add butter to the heated pan and let it melt.
  • Add powdered almonds and sugar to the melted butter.
  • Stir the mixture until the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
  • Greece a pie pan and pour the mixture.
  • Flatten the mixture evenly in the pie pan.
  • Immediately cut the mixture diagonally into 1-inch pieces.
  • Let it cool and store in an airtight container.
