Badam Kheer

Ingredients

  • ½ cup badam (powdered)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 10 strands saffron
  • ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 5 tablespoons sugar or to taste
  • 5 cashews made into pieces

Directions

  • Boil milk in a pan.
  • Add saffron, sugar and badam powder.
  • Keep stirring so that it does not burn at the bottom of the pan.
  • Add cardamom powder.
  • Roast cashew in 1 tsp of ghee and garnish the badam milk.
