Chocolate date squares

Ingredients

  • ½ cup vegan choc chips
  • ¾ cup Mejdool dates
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  • Melt the chocolate chips.
  • Blend the dates with the vanilla essence into a nice pulp.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second intervals till the chips have melted.
  • Add the melted chocolate to the dates and pulse and blend well into a paste.
  • Add this to the other ingredients and blend well
  • Pat into a wax paper lined pan and freeze for an hour.
  • Cut into squares and enjoy.
