Colored Peppers & Avocado Salad
Ingredients
- ¼ yellow pepper
- ¼ red pepper
- ¼ orange pepper
- ¼ green pepper
- 1 avocado
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ tsp red chilly flakes
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
- 1 firm tomato chopped(optional)
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
- Julienne cut the peppers into a thin matchstick shape.
- Cut the avocado into thin slices
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the minced garlic. Saute till it turns fragrant.
- Add the red chilly flakes & the cut peppers. Saute for 4-6 minutes until they are gently softened.
- Season with salt & pepper
- Use a plate to lay the peppers.
- Add the cut avocado slices and the diced tomato.
- Sprinkle the cut cilantro and squeeze the lime according to taste.
