Crispy Papad Salad

Ingredients

  • 4-6 Urad dal Lentil crisp( Lijjat Papad) 
  • ¼ cup red peppers 
  • ¼ cup green peppers 
  • ¼ cup grated carrots 
  • ¼ cup green mango 
  • ¼ cup onions 
  • ¼ cup tomatoes 
  • ½ avacado 
  • ¼ cup cilantro 
  • 1 stalk scallion 
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder  
  • 1 tbsp  chaat masala 
  • Lemon wedges for taste 
  • Salt n pepper 

Directions

  • First  place each lentil crisp on a plate in a microwave for 1 min 
  • After all the lentil crisps are baked, place each one on a plate 
  • Now assemble all the veggies on the lentil crisp. 
  • All vegetables have to be diced very finely for a good distribution on top of the crisp 
  • Tomatoes can be one of the last toppings to prevent the crisp from getting soggy 
  • Sprinkle the chilly powder, salt, pepper & chaat masala 
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and a squeeze of lime 
  • A visual treat and very delicious
