Kesari Bath with Sooji

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sooji
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup ghee
  • 1 cup banana
  • 1 cup water
  • Pinch of kesari
  • Pinch of cardamom
  • 10 cashew nuts and raisins

Directions

  • Roast sooji with 1 tablespoon of ghee until aromatic.
  • In a pan boil milk with kesari and sugar, keep stirring until sugar dissolves.
  • Slowly add roasted sooji to this mixture, so that no lumps are formed.
  • Add mashed banana to this. Keep stirring until the mixture forms a ball, add ghee as necessary.
  • Fry cashew nuts and raisins and add it to the bath.
  • Add cardamom in the end.
