Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup moong dal, soak in hot water
  • 2 cups cucumber finely chopped
  • 1 green chili chopped
  • 1/8 cup fresh grated coconut
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt as required
  • coriander leaves
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • Pinch of asafetida

Directions

  • In a bowl, mix chopped cucumber and drained moong dal.
  • Add grated coconut, chopped chili and lemon juice.
  • Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds and asafetida, when the mustard splits add it to the box mixed with cucumber and moong dal.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and mix well.
