Low carb tortilla pizza

Ingredients

  • 4 carb balance or low carb wheat/flour tortillas
  • 1 ½ cups pizza cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (store bought or homemade)
  • Assortment of toppings according to taste
  • Spray of oil

Directions

  • Heat a flat pan on the stove and crisp up the tortillas on both sides with a spray of oil
  • Crisp the tortillas on a low to medium flame for about 1-2 mins each side
  • Preheat the oven to 425 F
  • On a baking sheet/teflon sheet, place the crisp tortillas
  • First spread ¼ cup of the sauce on each tortilla
  • Next add the pizza cheeses according to taste
  • Now build the pizza with toppings of choice like onions, tomatoes, colored peppers, spinach, olives, pineapple, jalapeno pepper etc
  • The pepper flakes can be added at this time or after the pizza is done
  • Bake in the oven for 6-7 min
  • Once baked, cut into slices and enjoy
