Ingredients

  • 1 cup besan flour
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 1 cup ghee
  • ½ cup water or as needed

Directions

  • Seive the besan.
  • In a thick pan add water and sugar and keep it on low flame.
  • Simultaneously, heat ghee on low flame.
  • When the sugar boils, add besan slowly while stirring it continuously so that no lump is formed.
  • Add ghee slowly to this mixture.
  • Keep stirring until the ghee is released and the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
  • Keep a greased plate aside.
  • When you see holes in the mixture, pour it in the greased plate.
  • Cut the mysore pak into diamond pieces.
