Ingredients

  • 4 peaches cored and cut into cubes
  • 6 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 6 teaspoons butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¾ cup condensed milk
  • ¼ cup chocolate chip (optional)

Directions

  • Mix peaches, sugar, and salt in a bowl and refrigerate for 3 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Melt butter and pour it into the 8×8 baking pan.
  • In a bowl, mix combine flour, sugar, baking powder, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolate chip, and salt.
  • Pour the batter over the butter.
  • Spoon the peaches over the batter.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
