Peanut Mango Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanuts
  • ½ – ¾ cup raw mango
  • ¼ cup tomato
  • ½ cup red onion
  • ⅓ cup pomegranate
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ¼ tsp cumin powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp cut cilantro for garnish
  • Squeeze of lime

 

Directions

  • Boil the peanuts till they are cooked( pressure cook them for 2 whistles).
  • Finely dice the onions, tomatoes and the raw mango.
  • Take a bowl and add the peanuts and the above ingredients.
  • Next add the pomegranate.
  • All the seasonings like chaat masala, salt, cumin, chilli powder can be added and the whole salad can be mixed well.
  • Add the cut cilantro for garnish and a squeeze of lime can be added according to taste.
