Sesame Seeds Laddu

Ingredients

  • 1 cups sesame seeds
  • 1 cup brown sugar powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • ¼ cup of water
  • 10 raisins
  • 10 cashews broken into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons ghee

Directions

  • Roast sesame seeds until it is aromatic, set it aside.
  • In a pan add brown sugar powder and ¼ cup water.
  • Boil until all the sugar dissolves and it is like a syrup.
  • Add the roasted sesame seeds to this syrup and mix well and remove from the flame.
  • Roast cashews in ghee until it is brown, add raisins to it.
  • Add this to the mixture.
  • Let it cool so that you can make balls with your hands.
  • Grease your palm with ghee and make the balls.
