Garam Masala

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup coriander seeds
  • 1/4 cup cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons – Cardamom
  • 2 tablespoons – black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons – Cloves
  • 2 tablespoons – Fennel Seeds
  • 2 sticks – Cinnamon
  • 2 large – Bay leaves
  • Black Cardamom – (optional)
  • Roasted Nutmeg – (optional)

Directions

  • Fry the ingredients on low heat individually.
  • Let it cool.
  • Powder each of the ingredients separately and then mix them in a mixing bowl.
  • Keep in a glass container with a tight lid.
