Ginger Raita
Ingredients
- 2tbsp Chopped Ginger
- ¼ cup Coconut
- 1 Green chilly
- 1cup Yogurt
- ½ tsp Salt
- Few Coriander
- 2 tsp Oil
- Mustard seeds ½ tsp
- A pinch Asafoetida
- 1 tsp Urad dal
- 1 Red chilly
Directions
- Grind chopped ginger, coconut, coriander and green chilly in a little bit of the yogurt into a smooth paste.
- Add the ground late to the remaining yogurt and mix with salt.
- Heat the oil and add mustard seeds and once it splatters, add urad dal & red chilly and in 15 secs take it off the stove, add a pinch of asafoetida and add to the yogurt.
