Ginger Raita

Ingredients

 

  • 2tbsp Chopped Ginger
  • ¼ cup Coconut
  • 1 Green chilly
  • 1cup Yogurt
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • Few Coriander
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • Mustard seeds ½ tsp
  • A pinch Asafoetida
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • 1 Red chilly

Directions

  • Grind chopped ginger, coconut, coriander and green chilly in a little bit of the yogurt into a smooth paste.
  • Add the ground late to the remaining yogurt and mix with salt.
  • Heat the oil and add mustard seeds and once it splatters, add urad dal & red chilly and in 15 secs take it off the stove, add a pinch of asafoetida and add to the yogurt.
